Immersed in the Pause Book

"Immersed in the Pause" is a 28-page book published in a hand-signed and individually numbered limited edition of 100 as a culminating document for a year-long collection of paintings with the same name by artist Kelly Schamberger. The paintings were displayed as a solo exhibition in the Merrill Lynch Fine Arts Gallery at the Great Lakes Aquarium in Duluth, Minnesota (USA) in 2022. The book has been custom printed on high-quality archival grade felt stock to last as both literary work and art artifact.

Along with featuring all of the paintings from the exhibit, this book shares the back story behind the artworks. The publication is; a fine art exhibition catalogue; a book about the beauty of the North Shore of Minnesota as an exploration of the parks, trails, plants, and creatures of Duluth and beyond; an exploration of the cycles of human life as intertwined with the cycles of the seasons; a narrative following a year in the life of an artist; and an exploration of emotions of grief, struggle, acceptance, and growth.
